Are latex pants more difficult to put on than tops or dresses?
Yes, fitting latex over the legs requires the most lubrication due to the length and friction. You must use ample dressing aid (silicone lubricant) inside the pants and on your legs to prevent tearing the seams or damaging the material when pulling them up.
Do latex pants require a crotch/fly zipper for functionality?
Most latex pants designed for general wear include a front fly zipper for easier dressing and convenience. Pulling a full-length, tight-fitting pant on and off without a fly zipper would be extremely difficult and risk damaging the material.
How do I prevent the inside of the pants from sticking to my legs while sitting or walking?
Ensure the entire inside of the pants is either thoroughly treated with talcum powder before dressing, or apply a thin, even layer of silicone lubricant that remains slick. Friction from sticking can cause discomfort and wear on the latex.
Can I roll up the bottom hem of the latex pants?
It is not recommended. Rolling up the latex creates an area of high stress and friction which increases the risk of tearing the material or delaminating the hem seam. If the pants are too long, we suggest professional alteration.
